Ohio county boundaries in 1814: Map Work

Notice how the lands of the Ohio Northwest were under treaties with the Native Americans.

Using a present day map of Ohio, fill-in the major rivers and forts in the North West.

Create an enlarged Ohio map locating Fort Meigs on the Maumee River, Fort Stephenson, Fort Seneca, Fort Ball on the Sandusky River and the Lake Erie Islands where the naval battle with Oliver Hazard Perry will take place. Trace the route the armies would have taken in the Ohio conflicts. Be sure to include a compass rose, key and title! Label all rivers and forts.
