Youth Services and Outreach Services Coordinator


Full-time (37.5 hours/week) including days, evenings and weekends. Responsible for providing library services to youth, parents, teachers, caregivers, and other individuals and organizations that work with youth, as well as patrons and agencies served by the Outreach Services Department. Responsible for the administration of all aspects of the Youth Services and Outreach Services Departments, including planning, directing, supervising, promoting, and evaluating all programs and services. Over 90% of time is spent on management of Youth Services, and 10% or less on Outreach Services.

ALA accredited MLS/MLIS library degree required. Extensive knowledge of children’s materials and services required. Management experience required. Computer and technology skills required. Library Page-Woodville Location Part-time page, 16-19 hours/week. Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work days, evenings and weekends. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, maneuver full bookcarts, and walk and stand for several hours required. Ability to place library materials on high, medium, and low shelves required. Ability to see small lettering. A positive, friendly attitude, attention to detail, good communication skills, and excellent alphabetizing and filing skills are essential. High School diploma or current studies toward a diploma required. If currently pursuing a high school diploma, must be at least 16 years old and be able to obtain a work permit. Minimum wage.
