Birchard Public Library is a cooperating library with The State Library of Ohio’s Talking Book Department. Through this service, talking book machines and talking books on cassettes are loaned free of charge to the blind and physically handicapped patron.
Upon completion of an application form, talking book machines may be picked up at Birchard Library or arrangements made for delivery.
Talking books on cassettes are sent directly to the home without charge on a read and return basis. Cassettes may also be borrowed from the library’s collection of audiocassettes.
Application for this service may be made at Birchard Library or by calling 334-7101, ext. 232.
